the feejee mermaid was a fake mermaid popularized by p.t barnum it was very ugly, a monkey body put on a fish's legs and coverd in papier mache (eeeww!) and the original is...bum bum bum! 165 years old!!! (and it was butt ugly too!) no one knows where it is and which is real (there are like a billon fakes of the fake around the globe)
